Getting a bit irate having bought XBox One and being trampled on

Really getting to be a bit annoying now.

360 user get 2 free games a month with games for gold, now they can buy NFS Rivals for 50% less £24.99 than XBox One price £54.99. The 360 still has moutains more content and content providers than the XB1 and I've found my 360 being on more than the One
the last 2 weeks.

We show loyalty to Microsoft and the XBox brand and it fells like I am getting shafted for doing this.

I love teh X1 but getting so fed up of crap like this I am truly thinking about trading it in / selling and keeping my 360. At least I get BBC iPlayer and Sky on it. Oh and Red Bull TV which is great.

Come on MS get a grip and stop alienating customers like myself who have spend well over £1000 since the X1 launched.

how are you spending black friday?

I went to Best Buy, and it was surprisingly not that bad. I mean it was crowded, yes, but not bad enough for me to get trampled on, or having wait 3 hours at the checkout. Everything took like ~30 minutes.

I got Dead Rising 3 and a gaming mouse.

Amazon also was having a sale on the Xbox one Stereo Headset, so I bought that too, if that counts.

So overall, pretty good Doorbuster/Black Friday.

 

Communications Ban

Hi

Just wondering why I get banned for communication when the other people that message me call me names or are being toxic because I beat them in a game? Shouldn't xbox be a little more invested in their community. Never once have I said anything bad in a
message even if the other person is being irate. Just wish xbox would do a bit more checking on its loyal players before kicking them out for others reporting them for winning a game and they are just upset about it.

 

This is your opinion and you have that right, me, I am happy with the x1, plenty of content to keep me happy and plenty on the way, no issues here and enjoying it all.

 

I'm happy with the content as well, don't forget the amount of content the 360 has , so it's easier to get more content apron offer or given away, this time next year we're start seeing games for gold on the x1, it's not fair , but it will eventually come

 

You should have thought about this stuff before deciding to buy one.

 

To be honest I've hardly turned my X1 on ages... Luckily I've got stuff to play on PS4 til new stuff arrives on X1 that grabs my interest.

There's definitely less regular content landing on X1, but I'm sure that'll change eventually.

 

It's not my opinion that 360 users get 2 free games a month, it's a fact. It's not my opinion that NFS Rivals is more tan 50% less this week for 360 users, it's a fact.

The 360 has loads more content, thats a fact too.

I don't have an issue with the X1 but with the service provided to X1 users.

 

Best advice would be to wait 'til E3 and see how things are looking from there - we should hopefully find out about the 'Games for gold' for xbox one, as well as get a good look at upcoming ID@xbox games and any future games in general

I'm guessing this is your first console launch, either that or you just have a short memory because this is exactely what its like for the first six months too a year after every new console.

You get a glut of games then nothing for six months, I have a friend that has a PS4 and he's complaining about the same thing on PS4.

My only advice would be to not sell your Xbox One, for the simple reason that in three or four months time you'll wish you hadn't.

 

But just because a console is new is no excuse to sell the same game to users of older consoles at half the price.

Make the X1 games half the price of 360 then more people might buy X1's.

Your right Shaggy but I'd be regretting selling first time I watched a movie, wanted to "Snap" Internet Explorer etc.

 

Really dont feel the same way myself, yes more X1 content will be nice but its literally only 4 weeks away so no drama really. Games with Gold will come in time. 360 is bound to have more going on as its at the peak of its life, soon it will be all downhill
for the 360. Glad I kept mine though as I have been back on it every now and then, it just seems a bit clunky when I jump on it now.

 

The last I read Microsoft will give out more information about Games with Gold at E3.

I just hope with them claiming it's easy to port PC games to Xbox One, why not use the PC vast library of older titles for Games with Gold, I know I'd love to see the likes of Sim City etc appear on the console.

Usually with any new console you hit that point where your struggling to find games to play but I have to say with Xbox One, sure I've had the odd day or even week where my gaming mojo disappears, I've had this whatever platform I've gamed on but overall
I'm still more than happy. In fact at the moment it's a case of having too many games and not knowing what to play. Still play Forza 5, just gone back to Ryse with the latest DLC, a few days ago started Zoo Tycoon ( I highly recommend this title if your after
something different and a game to just chill out on ) Trials, well I play it when my blood pressure returns to normal lol and looking forward to Child of Light next week.

I'd go with what Shaggy has said, don't sell your Xbox One, or at least don't rush into any decisions. I've done it in the past, got rid of a console, only for a short time after a new game was released, or something announced and I was regretting it.
