What kind of 4K tv do I HAVE to have to watch 4K on Xbox one s?

I'm getting an Xbox one s. And a 4K tv. I'm wondering if there is any specs the tv must have to watch 4K on the box.

Xbox One S not recognizing full 4K capabilities through 4K AV receiver

My TV doesn't support HDR at all but it is 4k capable. I have tried having the XBOX One S directly connected to the TV and through the receiver with no luck getting anything 4k out of the One S.

Not read the link but I've posted recently that a few people are looking at 4K TVs but they haven't been been HDR10 compatible.

Not saying you already haven't but just double double check it fully supports HR10 and enjoy

I just love the XBS, not a massive jump but in my opinion it's what the XB1 should have been at launch

If you're playing on a 360 get that if you have a One though I would suggest skipping the S and get the Scorpio in a year

The XBOX ONE S is 4K, you have to have a 4K TV in order to get 4K content. Then your 4K TV has to be directly in the XBOX (TV IN ) HDMI slot. Once you connect this your XBOX will automatically download the Blu Ray 4K app
