    Getting 1% packet loss


    Since i got my internet setup a month ago thru cox ive been having problems with 1% packet loss and alot of lag online I have a wired connection from the modem straight to my xbox I should be getting 150mbs down and I think 10 up but I'm running way lower
    on my upload speeds I have an xb1 s

    exact same issue 1% packet loss with 160+ms ping it's definitely a server issue i get 60meg from bt infinity fibre optic FTTC and my pingtests are always 25ms with no jitter & packet loss. UK as well

    Do you always get packet loss every test you do?

    I sometimes get 1% packet loss usually in the evenings when the network is busy. But often if i redo the test its back to zero.

    I do the test on pingtest.net and that always says i have zero packet loss so i just assume its because the xbox test server is in Seattle.

    Have you done a test on pingtest.net?

    Thanks for that info. Please see our Multiplayer Connection troubleshooting guide as it includes steps for issues pertaining to packet loss
    under "You have high packet loss". While your packet loss is not currently high, any packet loss can contribute to any network issues you're experiencing.
