Will Xbox One have Arcade?

Nope, Games are not sorted to Retail/ Arcade on the Xbox One as all Games simply appear in the Marketplace.

 

Disappointing Downloads

I downloaded the Sega Rally Arcade off of the xbox arcade - was a real disappointment. From the looks of it, seemed like a sort of DiRT 2 lite - but was really much more of an arcade game than I expected. Like ones that you get at the cinema - 60 second timer races, not a lot of fun.

 

Got news for you. They have already announced that support for xbox 360 or 360 live as you put it will continue for 3 years. sounds like you will be waiting a long time.

 

I'm sorry, you put Call of Duty three, four and five as classics for the 360? Three Call of Duty games and two more in a series?

Backwards compatibility will not be happening for the One and that is extremely unlikely to change unless the PS4's service for it does extremely well.

As far as 360 and Original Xbox games compatibility goes, many original games do not work and many of the ones that do have glitches of varying severity and not all are really playable.

 

so how come i was playing rallisport challenge from old xbox on my 360? im sure if they can do it then they can do it now and how come i was playing an old n64 game called project dark on the 360?????, i dont care about graphics just the gameplay

Because this is one of the games that was made compatible and does actually work very well on the 360.

This is a little different as it was re-released on the 360 as an Arcade game, rather than running off the same cartridge the original version of the game was.

The PS4 will, at some point, have a streaming service allowing users to play PS1, 2 and 3 games, though the console itself isn't strictly backwards-compatible. I imagine that if this really takes off with the Playstation then Microsoft may consider getting
on board.

 

i didnt know that about ps4 but if thats true i will definitely buy a ps4 rather than the one, just cant let go of my old cods and if they are on the next gen console more people will be playing them
