    Get the name of a banned account.


    About five years ago, the account named Commander Trip was banned for unauthorized account modification until 12/31/9999. Is it possible to have that account's name removed so that it may be used with another account?

    What happens to your games if you get banned on an XB One

    that is the same as it is now, if you manage to break the rules so badly its a lifetime account ban you loose everything jn that account.

    for a modified console its the console that is banned, I think you have to involved in active game code hacking or account phishing or other be involved in nasty completely ruin live for others areas to get a perm ban for your actual gamer account, hey are never clear on why accounts are banned tho

    My gamertag got changed, now I have to pay?

    Forced name changes are given because your gamertag violated the code of conduct. Too many forced name changes and your account will get banned.

    Afraid not.

    Gamertags are not made available on demand.

    As of last year,if a gamertag does not log in for 5 years then it is made available although i'm not sure whether that applies to banned gamertags.

    I understand that, but for it to permanately be banned is a bit ridiculous.
    your account isn't permanately banned is it or just the name

    If a name is in violation. Then it can never be used

    You don't get a account perm ban unless you had multiple name change violations or something more serious

    No, I can change my gamertag. My account isn't permanently banned, but the option to share my real name with people is.
