Backwards Compatibility

How are games selected for backwards compatibility for Xbox One? I have been waiting feverishly for The Saboteur to be released as backwards compatibility and have not seen any information on whether this game will be brought back; I no longer have my Xbox
360, so I have no way of re-playing The Saboteur until it is brought back for backwards compatibility.

Need to find some good games!

Dark Souls, Metro 2033, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, The Saboteur, and Syndicate to name a few good ones. The Saboteur is a great free roamer.

 

Hi, while nothing has been announced, in terms of backwards compatibility , you can see the current list of backwards compatible games here:

Xbox Ideas, powered by UserVoice . In terms of a new game, its unlikely as the developers are no longer in operation sadly. EA might still own the
IP however, so maybe someday they will bring it back.

 

Will all due respect, how come we can't see or can't find the all xbox games voting page anymore in order to vote for The Saboteur to become backwards compatible! Why did they remove it!

 

They changed over to a different voting system after the previous one became a cluttered mess.

I think they are always looking to get as many games backwards compatible as possible.

I agree. I love Saboteur. For some reason this game slipped past the cracks because when I ask people about no body played it or even heard of it.

I’m late into the Xbox One game, but learning that some of my favorite games are not compatible makes me sad and almost wanting to just stick with 360.

 

I never finished that game, but I should have. it was good. I forget why I stopped playing it.

 

same but the reason i stopped is because my b button doesn't work and the analog stick wont move all the way for motion. plus i'm too cheap to buy a new controller.

Its a great game, be great to see it with a bit more detail on an xbox one etc.

Definitely one of those games that just ddidnt get the recognition it deserved!!

 

Me too... I think I just got too busy, and now I'd like to pick it up again should it become compatible
