the password, if that does not work, please try to fill out the account recovery form here, or if the account

The above would be your only way to get back into the account. Without that you will not be able to agree to the terms and you would most certainly need to make a new account.

Your MTU is 1500 because you haven't performed smart setup yet.

To do that you just need to open the Internet Explorer app on xbox 1 and choose not to activate parantal controls.

Once you have done this your MTU will be 1480 and your connection speed will increase.

I've always been able to download 18 rated games from the console though. I was able to download Assassin's Creed II the other day, and that's an 18 rated game. I can't remember what the parant account is aswell. Is there anyway I can find out, because my
Mam has changed her email address and can't remember what the parant email account was?

There is only one way to disassociate a child account from a parent account. The date of birth on the child account, as entered at account creation, must reflect that you are at least 18 years old (in the US. Age of legal adulthood may vary by country).
You cannot force it to happen early. Changing the date of birth on the account has no effect, nor does deleting the parental account. It has to be allowed to happen naturally. When that time comes, an option will appear in Account Management that will
let you promote your account to adult status.
