Event Ribbons

A petition got 343 Industries to patch the glitched achievements for Halo 4, so maybe it'll also work to expedite the Gears of War: Judgment event ribbons.

On a side note, where did the phrase, "awesome sauce" actually come from? It's so weird...

 

@GalacticGeek. Its suppose to be a gears of war referance in GOW 3. its a medal achieved for doing amount of perfect active reloads. Ever since I've said it everytime. Yea..I'm a total Gearhead.

 

I don't think that's the origin though - a lot of achievements are named after popular memes and I think that's the case with this one. I remember it from the insurance commercial where the 1 girl finds out she's talking to her twin sister because she's
like, "awesome sauce" and the other's like "hey, my sister always says that."

 

Maybe from arbys. They also have a horsey sauce. ??

I've been excited for the new Gears since I found out BTS was in charge. Epic had a good run and I actually enjoyed Judgment despite the terrible community support but they lost so many loyal fans because of It. Gears 3 has way more people than Judgment
and I don't blame them. Gears 3 was and is still fun as hell. I just might have to fire up some MP/horde this weekend. XD Anyway, I have high expectations for this game. Being next gen and all, it should be amazing.

It sure is nice to see some devs open to feedback and player input to help shape an upcoming game. It's usually that sort of attitude that makes a game pretty good but then it adds weight to the shoulders of the devs that have the spotlight on them and raised
expectations. They have my respect for that. Community engagement is a must.

 

It must be hard for the development team keeping everyone happy, they would not be able to do every little thing we all wanted, it must be a nightmare to sort and adapt our ideas, hats off to them.
