Get Minecraft Java if you own Minecraft in other device connected to an MS Account

General question: will the offer be able to go with other platforms soon?

It's kind of sad to hear that. I read the article again and yes, it says that players with the Bedrock Windows players will get Java Edition for free.

The offer says that you will get Minecraft Java if you purchased Minecraft for Windows (which can only be played on Windows), or vice-versa. It does not say anything about getting Minecraft Java if you purchased the plain Minecraft (for Xbox).

So from what I understand, people who purchased Minecraft for other platforms (Xbox, Nintendo, Playstation) will not be eligible for this offer. Only Minecraft Java or Minecraft for Windows purchases are eligible.

It should honestley still work "minecraft bedrock for windows" is still the same game through out all the platforms and they can all play with each other this is very anti consumer

The offer explicit says:

"This offer relates to PC platform only – including Mac, Linux, and Windows. Xbox, mobile, and other consoles are excluded. All PC platform players will receive a Minecraft: Java Edition entitlement if they own Minecraft for Windows, and vice versa."

So Minecraft Bedrock players of other platforms except PC (Xbox, Nintendo, Mobile) will not be eligible.
