Get information about an account

Hello there.

I don't know if a forum is the best way to approach this, but it is my only option right now.

I recently wanted to change my Gamertag into the name "Lum3t", I have been using this name for years and so far have been the only one to us this. When checking the accessibility of said name, it appears there is another account with the exact same name,
but it has literally no activity whatsoever. That got me wondering if by chance I created an account with the name Lum3t in the past and simply forgot about it. Thus I would like to know the corresponding E-Mail adress and if it turns out to actually be an
older account of me, if it is somehow possible to transfer either name, progress, or close that account enabling me to use that name on my current account.

You can try using this tool - Forgot the email address you use to log in to your Xbox? Learn how to find your Xbox login. or contact support to
see if they can get you the email. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada.

If it is an older account of yours, you would have to change the gamertag to something else in order to free it up for use on your current account. It's not possible to totally deleted an Xbox account. Nothing can be transferred between accounts.
