Get Doom for $20 from GameStop (New)

@brand-Cheapest place I have been finding games is mostly online places like Wal-Mart.com or Amazon. The marketplace has been another huge source for some great deals for me. Most of my entertainment shopping is done 99% online as it's at least $20 to $30
cheaper than walking in any store...sometimes even cheaper than that.

Saw this today in my local Tescos for £29.99 for those passing a store.

Off topic, they had dome other great deals, latest Tomb Raider £19.99, Forza Horizon 2 £14.99, Zoo Tycoon £9.99, F12015 £9.99, Mad Max + Mad Max Fury Road DVD £29.99, Witcher 3 £22.99, Deux Ex ( latest one ) £34.99

 

Went to Gamestop today to get my son an amiibo. While there they had a sale this weekend only where all games were €39.99. I couldn't decide between Doom, Dark Souls 3, Quantum Break and Rise of the Tomb Raider so I had the store clerk pick a hand and it
had RotTR so that's what I got. It's also my first disc bought game in over a year.

 

ROTTR is fantastic in my opinion. Best one in the series I'd say

 

So far I love it. The graphics are crazy good. Doom will be my next purchase.

 

^ it gets old very quickly mate, once the Doom nostalgia wears off after the first few levels. I lost interest which is unusual for me as I normally like to finish a game even if it's mediocre.

 

^ I think the trouble with a lot of FPS is lack of variety. Maybe wrong word but for me they all blend into one another.

My first proper experience with DOOM was on the first PlayStation, me and a mate, 2 TVs , link lead and it was awesome fun. Even the SP felt fresh.

Of course this new DOOM looks a lot better and for people younger than me would no doubt prefer it over the original all those years back. For me though this new one whilst being ok ( my opinion ) doesn't have the magic of the original.

 

Genchy that's what I'm worried about. I wouldn't pay more than €20 for Doom. It looks like it would make a good weekend of gaming, but that's it. I can see it getting boring quick. I did have fun with the MP beta, but again it wouldn't hold my interest long.

Brilliant game that just keeps getting better.

On top of the actual campaign the "Create A Level" feature will keep you saturated in gory Doom gun goodness for ages.

If you don't care for it fair play.

All you do in FIFA is kick a football, but some people find that really fun.

All you do in DOOM is blow the crap out of things that aren't you and for tons of us that's more than enough to keep us going.

More than worth full price in my book so this is a steal.

At the end of the day if we all liked the same thing... the world would be a dull place though.

And... on top of that... I think there's still a DOOM Demo available on the store (think it lets you play the first level)?
