    , but whenever I try to sign in and do it or fix it for the Xbox, it says it is done already, and when I try to solve it on the Xbox, it gives a black screen covering the rest of the sign in bar. I've tried on phone, PC, and the Xbox itself but nothing has worked and I am frustrated. I'm using an Xbox One; and the kid is already Fourteen! I've tried for months but I always have to end up selecting SKIP FOR NOW. Have reset the Xbox too. What will work?

    Hello,

    The only way to find out the e-mail of a parental account attached to your gamertag is to
    contact phone support. Once you've received that e-mail that's connected you can then visit this page
    here and try to reset the password. If the password reset does not work, you would need to fill out the Microsoft account recovery form
    here.

    Your best bet is to try it on the xbox console. Sometimes the website gets stuck in a loop.

    Try changing the password again. If that does not help then try changing the parental email on account.live.com. When you sign in there with the parental id you will have an option to change it.

    That significant change to the Microsoft account may help the system recognize the parental account.

    Why can't Microsoft just remove my parental account?

    that would be a password reset however itsz shis parental account

    no they cannot remove parental settings as it is upto your parents to remove it

    actually outlook forums would help

    the question is did you verify the info concerning the parental account to get the password reset

    thats what you need to do
