  1. Get a new capture card, or will transmitter cables work?

    Hello,

So, my Mygica EZ Grabber capture card worked well on my 360, would it work with the Xbox One using a HDMI/composite conversion cable?

Here's what an EZ Grabber looks like (the USB plugs into my laptop, the composite cables would- I assume -plug into the converter and the converter into the Xbox One):

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/EZ-Grabber2...eo_Capture_TV_Tuner_Cards&hash=item3a9cb6db89

And here are the cables I was thinking of:

High Quality HDMI to 3-RCA RGB A/V Component Conversion Cable Male | eBay

And just to note, I'm aware of Upload and OneDrive and I've used both, but it's not efficient in getting many small clips to my laptop as quickly as possible. All I do is make AMVs for conventions (and for fun) so I'm not looking to spend too much money or
have a bunch of extra features I'm not going to use.

If anyone knows of a good, simple capture card for Xbox One for around $50 let me know.

    Thanks!

    :)

    Making Videos On XboX360

i donno you can get a decent ati all in wonder 9800 (agp ) or any of the other new ones for pci-e

ati or nvidia or just specific capture cards

remeber a decent computer and ram plus a decent capture card

(nvidia makes some but they are harder to get )

ati and nvidia capture cards doubles as a 3dgaming card

also they have onboard mpg encoding which makes video conversion easier (i have a ati 9800 on an old pc due to i couldn't get agp on a dual core lol)

    where can i buy

You can get a Dazzle capture card from most PC World shops. And generally capture cards are simple to set up: all you have tou do is attach cables to you TV/Xbox in the same way the TV and Xbox are connected.

1997 called and wants its capture card back. (Sick burn, dude.)

Neither of those cards would work. You want something with HDMI. I use the Elgato HD60, but that'll run you ~$170.00. Odds are you aren't going to find a card for less than $100 and certainly not a $7.99 piece of plastic.

Capturing in pure HD, you will need one powerhouse of a PC.. the raw files will eat up Gbs a minute and you will need a top end GPU just to edit those clips... in my old PC I had an Avermedia HD DVR and ended up needing more mem and a better vidcard and
still could only capture at a fraction of max..

    Turtle Beach X41 Compatibility

I appreciate your feedback, guys. It seems any optical cable will work. I was just worried that my transmitter had its own Turtle Beach-produced cable and that any regular ones sold in stores wouldn't work.

Optical cable connects Xbox and transmitter, adapter allows chat. Everything is working perfectly.

Surround headset question: manufacturer claims chat audio via USB?

As Maxen13 says the usb powers the transmitter and the optical cable plugs into the transmitter also the DTS doesn't work with xbox one the manual says not to use the DTS setting

Help with setting up Xbox 360 S to Surround Sound

Thanks for the input guys, I eventually figured it out but had to use a workaround.

Even breaking the flap off on the composite cable still for some reason continued to block the HDMI port.

I decided to use my capture card and plug in the Component cables to the video portion of the capture card, and the AV cables to my surround sound, then using the capture card as a pass through, I plugged an HDMI cable to the HDMI out on the capture card
    to the TV.

It works fine now. Only thing now is that scrolling through menus on Xbox sometimes has a "tinny" sound to it in the surround sound speakers, that doesnt happen on my PS3 on the same surround sound system. But oh well, I'll figure it out hopefully.
