Get 3 free games when you purchase and log into a new xbox 1

I received this message on my xbox360, saying I would receive digital copies of Halo 5 Guardians, Forza 6, and Gears of War Ultimate if I purchased a new xbox1 and logged in using my gamertag by 12 June 2016. The message said the codes would need to be
used by 20 June 2016.

I went out and purchased an xbox 1 and am wondering how long it will take for the game codes to be provided.

hey,

every new xbox will give you 3 months free trial spread over 3 accounts, so if you create a new account you can get 1 month free gold and you can do this with 3 account on 1 console.

so this is basically a way to get ''free'' gold.

You do not need an Xbox One you should be able to purchase the game using xbox.com and the game should be sitting in a waiting to install list on your new console when you log into it.

Mister Maka, you said on that forum too that the codes should be sent out by 25 July. However, it is now 26 July and I have not received the games. Should I create a new thread, as you suggested in the other forum?

It's now 29 June and still no codes for the free games. I'm starting to think this is a con by microsoft and that I will need to approach the NSW Dept of Fair Trading and make a formal complaint.

Given the promotion said I would receive the codes by 20 June 2016 I think the Deparrtment would take a very dim view of what's happening.

How many other people have been affected?

Same case with me too, and last week, on the forum which I created about the issue, about 5 people posted that they had the same issue as well. For waiting this long, there should be an extra item given to us along with the games.

Staff members, it would be great if you could resolve this issue as soon as possible.
