Gestures: skip November 2015 update to continue using gestures

Is there any way to skip the November 2015 update?

I want to continue using gestures on dashboard.

Note: I bought a Xbox one even because (if not mainly) because the motion features. I can't believe you dropped this feature from dashboard!

Gestures actually aren't that bad at all!

I still find voice commands faster in most instances, but have been using gestures more frequently since the update.

Gestures

It's just simple little actions you can do to express yourself in co-op or invading. Nothing more.

 

Only way to skip it is to not have your console connected to online.

If you want to use your console online then you will have to have the new update.

 

Thank you Daft for your reply. Anyway, I have to say that until today (17/11) I'm still using the old dashboard even if I'm online. I haven't check manually for updates and I hope to continue so.

Do you know why (fortunately) MS doesn't force me to update?

 

Not sure why you haven't been forced to update yet.

Would expect it to happen at some point though.

 

Yesterday forced to update.

Feeling like using old gen console.

I bought xbox one instead of PS4 only because the gestures when using xbox as media center.

Bad choice considering this update: If I chose PS4 I would have paid less for a better machine.
