Geotech wireless headset suddenly stopped ability for other Gamers to hear him.

My sons Geotech headset suddenly in the middle of a party stopped other gamers from hearing him, he now cannot communicate at all, but he can hear other people fine and also has sound on the games fine. Headset seems to be working no problem, he is NOT muted
before you ask and all settings seem OK. I have read a very long forum string going back 3 years on a very similar issue which does not seem to be resolved by Xbox or MS, I am hoping this is not the same. Please can yo help as it appears purchasing another
headset/controller has made no difference to other people with the same issues.

Just bought The Turtle Beach Stealth 500x

Awesome Headset. Sound is great, and the ability to use presets like superhuman hearing and footstep focus make playing FPS even better. Being totally wireless is so great. My first wireless headset and the freedom of wireless is just underated. Now if you like Ear piercing loudness these aren't for you. However they are plenty loud for me. They are on sale for 200 USD right now if you are on the fence or looking for a great headset pick them up.

My son all of a sudden cannot be heard on his headset but he can hear other gamers.

My son all of a sudden cannot be heard on his headset but he can hear other gamers. I have tried 2 other brandnew headsets and the result was the same. can anyone help as it is driving him nuts which inturn drives me nuts.

Do you have another Xbox One controller that you can test the headset out on? This is the easiest way to figure out if the issue is with your headset or the controller. Also, please make sure that the controller is

fully updated. Beyond that, what is the specific model of headset your son is using? Do note that we are unable help troubleshoot third party accessories so if you continue to experience issues with that headset on multiple controllers, you may want to
reach out to the manufacturer for further assistance.

Hi. Thanks for responding. The headset which worked for the first 5 months was a BUTFULAKE Gaming Headset SL-300.
You can hear through the headset but the mic stopped working (can still hear though). We then purchased a Turtle Beach Ear Force XO Three headset; can hear through the headset but mic doesn't. Don't know if this is true but son says when moving/tampering with
the mic others can hear the noise that creates but when my son speaks into the mic others cannot hear him.

There is only one completely wireless headset for the 360, the
Tritton Warhead. The Warhead includes wireless sync ability with a 360 console (same as a 360 wireless mic), allowing it to be completely wireless. All other headsets use a cable from the controller to the headset to provide mic support.

Please Follow These Steps : The Xbox Wireless Headset pairs with an Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One console in the same manner as an Xbox Wireless Controller:

Be sure that both the headset and console are powered on.
Press and hold the green power button on the headset (located on the back of the left earcup) for 4 seconds. You will hear a repeated pairing tone, and the power light on the headset will start flashing.
Press the Pair button  on your console (the same button you use to pair a wireless controller with your console). The power light on the console will start flashing.
When the headset and console connect with each other, the power lights on both devices will stop flashing.

To connect an Xbox Wireless Headset to a Win10, Android, or iOS device using Bluetooth:

Be sure that the headset is powered on.
Press and hold the green power button on the headset (located on the back of the left earcup) for 4 seconds. You will hear a repeated pairing tone, and the power light on the headset will start flashing.
Go to the Bluetooth connections menu on your device and scan for available devices. The headset should appear as Xbox Wireless Headset in the available devices list.
When the headset connects with your device, the power light will stop flashing.

The ability of hearing through the headsets, the last few I've obtained have always ended up losing their ability to pick up others' chatter. It concerns me that having a headset is a lost cause.
