Geometry Wars Evolved - BWC

Hello and thanks for reading.

I installed a few games after they showed up for digital download on the Xbox One that i owned on the 360, Geometry Wars Evolved being one of those.

When i initially tried to launch it after i successfully installed it, I would get an error telling me to put in the disc or if i don't own the content to download it.

I have bought it on the profile i have homed on the xbox one so of course i double checked on my 360 and went ahead and transferred my save game to the cloud while i was at it. I then tried again to launch it on the Xbox One and received the same message.

So what i then tried was deleting the installed game so i could just try re-installing it (it deleted my save game as well which is no big deal).

Now the game is not showing up for ready to install, mind you i dont even have a ready to install showing up at all, any ideas?

Issue playing full version of Geometry Wars Evolved 2

In that case, the only other thing I can think of is that maybe it was bought with a different Xbox LIVE account.



Try going to the Geometry Wars Evolved 2 page on Xbox.com (click here), and look at "Full Game - Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved
2." Does it say "Already purchased" or "800 points"?

Hmmm, still though, it had showed up to install, I installed it. Discovered it was not launching, uninstalled it and it does not show up any longer plus it deleted my save game. It has me in fear of removing any other games for reason being the same (will
forever disappear)

And is there no way of just uninstalling a game and not the Saved game, I am guessing it also force uninstalls all the DLC. Thankfully my ISP doesn't have me on a data cap.

 

If you go to games and apps, high light the game you want and press the start button(aka Hamburger Icon) select Manage game. Now high light the game press start and select uninstall. If you click the top(hard drive Icon) it gives you the option to uninstall
all. That one, uninstalls the game and your saved data. Hope this makes since and answers your question.
