Geometry Stretching on Series X?

Discus and support Geometry Stretching on Series X? in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; [IMG] Is this a known issue?     Is this a known issue? I'm in Alpha Skip-Ahead but its been happening since before i enrolled my new Series X. I'm worried its something wrong with my console specificly, so im reaching out to see if others have experienced this. It's basically geometry stretching, mostly only in Xbox One games.



    Used this particular screenshot because it's quick and easy to reproduce. if anyone has a series X and MCC, check out the begining of Halo 2's Metropolis in classic graphics and let me know if you see the same thing.

    Why microsoft doesn't include xbox one X in next gen games its a powerfull console

    but missing some of the hardware features that are required, xbox one x is ancient tech these days, even series s is now stretching, series x is getting on a bit too.

    Dying Light 2 "Optimised for Series X not S"

    Hi,

    Untrue.

    Dying Light 2 is optimised for Series S, but due to the open world nature of the game, it's not 60fps. The game runs at a fixed 1080P resolution (1920x1080) on Series S, whereas the One S operates at a rather low 864P (1536x864), not much higher than 720P.

    Just factoring in resolution alone, Dying Light 2 is still better on a Series S than an Xbox One S.

    One X has better texture and geometry detail, mainly due to having 4GB more RAM than a Series S.

    I think its both great and disappointing. Its great because it means nobody gets left behind. Its disappointing because i had already planned on getting the series x right away. Maybe ill see if i can stretch the life of my xbox one s a bit longer.
