    Is anyone successfully using Directv Genie Client with Xbox One?

    lpangm03 are you using the big Genie box, or the small genie client?

    Can I use my Cable Box Remote while Xbox One is Connected through XBox TV?

    I am able to use my Genie remote with my Direct TV Genie box with no issues.

    STUDBUCKET33 THINK I KNOW WHY XBOX ONE LIVE TV NOT WORKING ON MY DIRECTV GENIE DVR. THIS MORNING I HOOKED XBOX ONE UP TO THE OTHER 3 MINI BOXES THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE AND XBOX ONE LIVE TV WORKED PERFECTLY NO PROBLEMS THEN BACK TO THE GENIE DVR SAME THING NOTHING.
    MY CONCLUSION IS FEW MONTHS BACK I SWITCHED THE GENIE TO ANOTHER ROOM WHICH MEANT THE GENIE WASNT RUNNING OFF THE MAIN CABLE WIRE OF THE WHOLE HOUSE. SO WHEN I SWITCHED THE GENIE TO THE OTHER ROOM I HAD TO USE COMPONET CABLES FOR IT TO WORK AND BY THAT REASON
    I CANT GET THE GENIE BOX AND THE XBOX ONE TO BE ON THE SAME INPUT I HAVE A STRONG FEELING THATS THE REASON WHY ITS NOT WORKING.

    HDMI pass through

    Have DTV (Genie box) and have not seen any of these issues.

    Additionally, here is a quote from an engineer working on the TV side of the One interface:

    "On a side note: Using HDMI 2.0 (or high speed 1.4) of a good quality is very highly recommended. It has solved more issues than I care to comment on. Very inexpensive or old HDMI cables can lead
    to a very poor experience"
