Generic Joystick im xbox game pass PC

Its possible, in theory, if the game supported that as a controller or you had an adaptive controller rig. If its not an accessory that's straight up compatible with the Xbox (or any random game on Gamepass or PC Gamepass) then it just won't work unless
you have a lot of plugins or download the game through something like Steam where you can edit the support files yourself.

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums. Just to clarify, what do you mean by Generic Joystick? Can you be specific as to what you are referring to? Additionally, the Xbox One Controllers should be suffice to use when playing any game on the Xbox One including
games from Xbox Game Pass.

When you say generic joystick you mean generic xbox controller?

Those should automatically work with a windows PC Ive used both a Xbox 360 wired and Xbox one connected with a Micro USB cable to my PC and have played both Xbox One and 360 games fine with both of them. So maybe go to your local game store and purchase
a used 360 wired controller.
