    Says "Go it alone or team up...." but no sign that single player?

    So get the feeling this require xbox live subscription at least?

    And so cut down going alone no way you will get anywhere - so no single player, or?

    To me, it appears to require Xbox Live subscription, everything is pointing towards it being PvP multiplayer.

    Under capabilities it does say multiplayer (2-4) and online co-op (2-4). No mention of single player here.

    Hi Dan,

    Thanks for your post! Any game with a single player mode/campaign should still be playable without Xbox Live Gold. If you attempt to play a multiplayer mode without your subscription, then you will be asked to purchase Xbox Live Gold to play online.

    I hope this information helps!
    To clarify on this, single player mode/campaigns can be played with most games, but in the case of Anthem, Gold is required to play through the game.

    This thread here has an Anthem community manager responding that PS Plus and Xbox Live Gold
    are required to play the game at all.

    Xbox Live Gold is required for online multiplayer content. Games you purchase that have single-player components do not require Xbox Live Gold to run in single-player or other offline modes (like couch co-op). However, games with significant online components
    (like Overwatch and Fortnite) will require Gold as part of their usage.
