General Xbox live performance

I have been a huge follower of x box for many years but it's beginning to get pathetic. As many people did my step son was bought an xbox one christmas day. He was unbelievably excited. It is now 14:45 hours on 27/12/14 and he still hasn't been able to play
a single game on it. This was due to the hacking issues you have experienced but more frustrating now is the stupidly long install times. It's taken 3 hours so far to download 19% of advanced warfare and I have fibre optic broadband. What is being done to
solve these ridiculous install times and hacking issues? I hope we (the x box community) are to be compensated as I have spent enough money with you over the years

Confused - Watchdogs on 360 or One?

Xbox One version should be noticeably better. Both in graphics and general performance.

if they don't help, we can dig into the nitty-gritty of it.

 

For disc installations, perform the installation offline to speed up the process.

For downloads, it depends entirely on your home network - your speed and how many other devices are connected at the same time will impact download times. Also Xbox One games are considerably larger than Xbox 360 games, so will take considerably longer to
download in their entirety.

For Advanced Warfare, you should be able to start playing before the download completes fully - watch out for a "Ready to Play" notification that will let you play parts of the game before everything is downloaded.
