Santa got me an XBONE and HALO: MCC this year. I'm a Christmas N0OB, YAY!

I am looking around the forums for a good general FAQ for help with which voice commands work best, the final word on used games, how to get my XBOX videos to download, etc.

Is there one posted here? I dug and couldn't find one.

im woundering how i make all the games i play turn up on my gamercard also how could i make it like other people do were you can see the avatar on the forums page any help would be grate sorry if this isnt the place to post this

2. Used games are a-okay on Xbox One. Buy and sell your physical games to your hearts content. But digital is forever.

3. To get started with Xbox video, simply start by downloading the Xbox Video app. Then pick and choose the videos you want to buy or rent and they will load. Here is a good link to help there.

Sounds good! I'll start there.

But my video questions are primarily aimed at whether or not I can download my previously purchased content, and also how I can get Connect 360 or medialink to stream my home library.

Digital is not forever. You can still play an old Atari cartridge, but not an Atari Gameline downloads. If you go digital, you are subject to cooperate whims and changes in policy. I lost a lot of money on ATRAC files over the years. I am leery of 100% digital
distribution.

Does that make me a dinosaur?

lol I just meant once you make the digital purchase there is no resale on it like physical games.

As for Xbox Video, anything you purchased on 360 should be able to be downloaded on the Xbox One from the Xbox Video app.

I've tried, but cannot find the option either on screen or in the menu submenu to save a video to the HDD.

Where is it?

I have removed the account to an external hard drive and the new account is on the actual console and it still says that there is a ban on the new one if nothing else can I just be refunded for the 3-month gold subscription I put on the new one

update went back to the enforcement section of the Xbox website and upon further review it says that a "service suspension was deemed necessary" can someone explain what that specifically is because I looked all over that site and it didn't tell me what
it is

The enforcement team doesn't use the forums and we can't help you with suspension issues but your issue might be a console ban not account specific ban.
