I'm curious to read what some of you hard core Xbox fans think about the new Xbox...

I personally think or feel like a got played more then the games I at least try to play online ...

 

Well Kinect has to be the worst part of the One, just like it was with the 360. But Microsoft is like a dog with a bone, they just won't give up with it. Just think before Kinect it was all about the games. Now it's just about how they force kinect onto
people.

Wild, I understand you may not like the Kinect, but I want you to understand 2 things: 1) they're not forcing it on anyone & 2) it's not just about the Kinect. There are numerous games on the Xbox One that barely use the Kinect at all - how's that "just
all about the Kinect?"

 

Glad I've been away from this poison enjoying the Xbox One I purchased. Its a really good console.

Be careful brandiesel, they may strip you of your ambassador status for calling the Kinect junk.

Anyway, I loved the XBox, I loved the XBox 360 even more, but the XBox One is just ok. Microsoft has clearly lost their focus and seems to be content with letting go of all their past supporters. They made it rather clear in the past that the main focus
of the system would be for sports, and TV. The result was a beta system sold as complete that worked great for TV. I do see the system as having potential to really shape up. However to do that they really need to ditch the Kinect since its mostly worthless,
and cut the price to at least $375.

They also really need to get external hard drive support out there. The 500 GB is really really small considering how much memory stuff like games, and patches take up. Im not sure what they were thinking putting such a tiny amount of memory in it, but it
won't last too long for most. I've got about 43 GB left myself, and im saving whats left for Titanfall. After that, I sadly won't be purchasing anymore games until they give me more memory. I don't like deleting stuff either. Sure it might free up some memory,
but if I ever want to play it again, I don't feel like and don't have the bandwidth to constantly be downloading the patches for it all. They could have at least given you the option to swap out for a bigger hard drive like the PS4 does. With our luck when
they finally do support external memory, it will only be compatible with official overpriced devices.

 

I think it's a featureless, overpriced and under powered piece of crap. I expected at least some degree of parity with the PS4, but the Xbox one is like a fat man chasing after Usain Bolt - and pitifully trying to catch up, but never ever will. Xbox ? Loved
it. Xbox 360? Same. The Xbrick? Absolute junk of the first degree, it's going to take more than a magic SDK kit to sort out this rubbish. And as for kinect? What an absolute waste of time and effort. "Xbox on" Horray! Well worth the extra money..

Only good thing it has going for it is only needing one gold account.

 

@Gh0Stz - I've stated before that I'm waiting on an X1 until there are a few games that I'm interested in. (if I end up purchasing one at all) Even so, I'll post in whatever forum I want to. It's kind of weird that you seem to be stalking me in every thread
that I post in. I don't want to be your hobby, so stop trying to engage me in a conflict.
