Gen 6

Anyone else having trouble getting the brain surgeon challenge? ive killed 11 by rodeoing but only 5 have counted. its rather annoying.

REGEN REQUIREMENTS FOR TITANFALL IS A JOKE!!!!!

Doesn't seem to be slowing down anyone though. Played a Gen 6 and Gen 7 yesterday. British. Unreal.

 

use the Eva shotgun and the satchel charges, you'll make it rain, gears and parts (of titans)

 

I don't have any trouble killing them, just getting the kills to count. I now have at least 15 but only 6 have registered.

 

I should now have at least 30 or 40, but only 10 have registered. Was thinking maybe killing auto titans doesn't count, but my last 3 have been against piloted titans where the pilot actually ejects after and they haven't counted either.

 

I have also noticed this that on the auto titans you have to doom them and then finish them fully off for the rodeo kill to count

 

it confused me for a while, but you have to get the last bullet into it, not the doomed prompt.

So you don't even have to doom it, just jump on it it once get be the one who put the last bullet before it explodes and the point is yours.

 

You need to doom the auto titan and finish it off to get it to count as a kill thats how it as been working for me. i am trying to reach level 39 to unlock the spitfire.

 

I didn't on mine (they also say you don't on the respawn forums), the hard part is jumping on and no dieing before you get the gun out.

Use the LMG for rodeoing, its amazing with or without the upgrade (no need to reload).

 

I have the spitfire unlocked i have also seen others complaining about the rodeo kills not registering i finish them off to be on the safe side.

 

Yeah I use the spitfire. Ive killed so many titans but only have 10 towards the challenge for some reason.

[/quote]Do you always keep firing until the titan is fully destroyed? or do you hope off when it says "titan doomed"?

 

I keep firing unless I'm about to die. But I guess that may be the issue. I'll have to test it next time I play.

 

Keep firing until the titan is fully destroyed, don't worry about dieing, get the final bullet, good luck, it is much easier with the LMG, so don't worry about getting them at the start of the gen, you will catch up when you unlock the LMG
