    Firstly i appreciate the response i recieved to my previous post. Its avaliable to read if anyone wishes to.

    So i have a question based on the response quoted below.

    "Gems have a value of one credit. Gems do not have a currency value, and were a brand new promotional currency added as we tested out the new Vault/MyChallenges system."

    Could someone explain how microsft or xbox or xbox live rewards came up with the valuation one gem equals one credit?

    I would argue the value should be higher but id like to see why its given the value it is.

    Also will the 5000 and 10000 rewards be back in stock before the switch over? I realise stock is rotated and what not but a yes or no would be appreciated and if yes a rough time of when would be a great help.

    MyVIP Gems - Part 3

    Hi,

    Thank you for your assistance with:

    MyVIP Gems - Part 2

    I've now moved from 528 MyVIP Gems to 542.
    2 x 2 MyVIP Gems, relate to the increase in my Gamerscore.

    However, I have an issue with the other 10. You mentioned that I had £4 held in Reserve, pending an awaited update or further purchases. On the 20th November I made
    purchases totalling £14.98, so together with the £4 in reserve, should have given me 20 MyVIP Gems & £3 would be held in Reserve for next time.

    I purchased the Taken Trilogy films, but it hasn't registered on the Movie Marathon Mission?

    Hello Wise Owl 2000,

    We see that you were correctly awarded Gems for your transactions since October. On the 20th we only see a purchase of 5.99 GBP for Taken Trilogy, which awarded Movie Marathon progress. Since you have only made 16.16 GBP in spending, that is only two 8 GBP
    amounts, so you have only earned 20 Gems so far from your spending.

    Hi AnthKO. Since Gems did not have any currency value associated to it to begin with, one was only added so it would not just expire after the program ends.

    Unfortunately, we have not been told if and when the Rewards Credits will be restocked, but the Vault will be restocked with more items. We understand that it is difficult not knowing more details, but we will share as much as we know when we are informed.

    Last post got locked / Haven't been paid out for myvipgems

    Gems don't actually have a monetary value. So when they are converted, they're converted as 1 credit.
    Really? thats a shame I asked them like 3 times on their twitter if I would get paid out $20 for the gems :/

    Hello AnthKO,

    Gems have no currency value. Since we recognize how much members love the Gems they have earned in our program, they will be worth 1 Microsoft Point when you are transitioned to Microsoft Rewards.
