    I've subscribed to Gold for three months straight, but I wasn't credited with the 100 gems for completing the golden child challenge.

    Missing gems from

    I have been in Xbox live rewards for 6 years now and I have not received any of the tenured gems. Why haven't I received my gems?

    Keep in mind gems just started on October 1. So anything done prior to that date will not have received gems.

    After reviewing your account, your Gold subscription for the last three months was a promotional, discounted subscription. As mentioned in the FAQ, promotional subscriptions are not eligible for Rewards:

    My Xbox Live Rewards account is not recognizing my Xbox Live Gold membership. What should I do?



    Xbox Live Rewards can only recognize paid monthly or yearly standard, non-promotional Xbox Live Gold memberships. If you have a different type of membership, we may not be able to recognize you as an Xbox Live Rewards Gold member.

    There are challenges to receive gems for keeping gold and game pass for a certain amount of time, but there are no offers to receive credits or gems for actually purchasing them. And subscriptions do not count towards VIP.
