Gems not Appearing?

Discus and support Gems not Appearing? in XBoX Rewards & Social to solve the problem; I am on Legend status in acheivement rank, and for some reason, I don't have any gems, I have been on Xbox rewards for years, and have no idea why...     Gems not Appearing?


    I am on Legend status in acheivement rank, and for some reason, I don't have any gems, I have been on Xbox rewards for years, and have no idea why there are no gems in my account to buy rewards with.

    Is this a technical issue or am I missing something?

    Any help that can be given is good help.

    Hello Hazleuth,

    Unfortunately, we cannot award gems for activity done before we created the gems feature this month, so you would not get gems for previous gamerscore.

    Retro Gems with Achievement Tier

    Unfortunately gems are not retroactive so you would only receive gems for anything earned after October 1. You can still earn gems for every 1,000 gamerscore you earn.

    Keep in mind gems just started on October 1. So anything done prior to that date will not have received gems.

    Hello CoTg BUCKSHOTZ,

    The Gems feature only came out on October 1st. Since you reached these MyAchievement ranks before then, they were not eligible.

    Hi Mountain Dew. Looks like Gems have been awarded for the survey taken (2) and also the purchases made(120, $10x12). Your Gem count is at 122. You can view them on your MyVIP page in the Perks section.

    Keep in mind gems just started on October 1. So anything done prior to that date will not have received gems.

    MyVIP Gems not being added for Gamerscore increase

    Hello Chunkeh Munkeh,

    Apologies for the inconvenience. It appears that all gamerscore Gems were backdated to around when the Gem statement released. As you mention, if you have 230 Gems, that would be about 115,000 gamerscore increase.
