Gems Not Appearing? Part 2

I appreciate the quick response, but locking the thread means I had to create a new thread to help clarify the issue I am having instead of being able to reply. Just some food for thought.

Also please don't take my straightforward manner as my being upset. I just tend to communicate in a very to the point manner, no offense intended I promise.

So back to the issue at hand. Thank you for giving me a balance update. It wasn't showing any gems earned on the MyRewards page, but upon going to the MyVIP page and MyPerks section as specified I do see 122 listed as you state.

So my first initial issue is that MyRewards is supposed to show that data as well as that deeper MyVIP page, so that appears to not be working as intended. So thank you for letting me know where to find that data.

The other issue is that I spent about $250 within about a 24-hour period, so that number should look higher unless I'm misunderstanding how the program counts things. It could also be that it just didn't process all those purchases yet in the transfer from
MSFT eCommerce servers to the HelloWorld, Inc side yet.

Once again though, thank you for all the work you folks do. I know that working support isn't an easy job.

MyVIP Gems - Part 2

Hello Wise Owl 2000,

Apologies for the confusion. We were awarding Gems for spending similarly to how we used to calculate MyVIP Credits. That is, we were calculating in 8 GBP increments, and therefore only awarding 10 at a time. However, we recently have been able to start
awarding on smaller increments for MyVIP Credits, so Gems were supposed to work similarly (.8 GBP per Gem). Unfortunately, this change has not yet gone through, and we have only awarded for 8 GBP of your spending. Your other 4 GBP are currently being held
in reserve to complete another 8 GBP in spending. If we are able to release our update soon, you should see these 2 gems appear. Otherwise, you may have to wait for another 4 GBP in spending to receive another 10 Gems. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Regarding the Golden Child perk, unfortunately, since we count each consecutive day you have been a Gold member (similar to your Game Pass MyChallenge), any break longer than a day will result in this Challenge resetting.

 

MyVIP Gems - Part 4

Hello Wise Owl 2000,

We have received clarification from our promotion team after contacting our web team. Subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP gems. Gem eligibility is similar to MyVIP eligibility, except pre-orders are also eligible for Gems for the gems for
purchasing offer. Subscriptions like Gold and Game Pass can be Rewarded with Gems by the MyChallenge for consecutive months of Gold or Game Pass, not for the .9 EUR per Gem offer. Apologies for the confusion.

We have brought it to the attention of the team that the Gems aren't showing in the MyRewards page, so they are looking into that at the moment. Thanks for bringing that up.

We have your total qualifying spend in October from the 1st to 16th as $128.86, this is minus consumable and music purchases and not including tax. Your complete total minus tax is $202.37. Have you made more purchases since the 16th?

 

Aha. I guess there was a bit that I was missing from what counted towards the goal. Seeing that explained it all makes perfect sense. Thank you.
