Gem to credit conversion rate

why are we given only one reward credit per gem?!?! When we redeem our gems for prizes we get 20 creds for each gem but now your telling me if i dont spend them by june 15 i will only get one credit per gem this is ridiculous and needs to be fixed. The faq
says xbl reward credits converts 1 to 1 but gems have always been worth more than 1 xbl credit and for some reason are still converted the same. Are you trying to punish players because this is a very back handed thing to do to players that have sunk alot
of their time into gems only for their value to be lowered 20fold with no notice

Gems have no currency value and were only used to obtain items from the Vault. Due to user feedback, if you opt out of the program, 1 Gem will become 1 Reward Credit, not 10 Rewards Credits. Since this is also the conversion rate for Gems to Microsoft Points
(1:1). Gems have never been worth 20 Rewards Credits. As you request, we will leave the thread unlocked, but cannot guarantee a response.

 

XBOX My Gems conversion rate to Microsoft Rewards

I'd like to echo a valid complaint from other users on here.

The transition to Microsoft Rewards has the conversion rate for My Gems set to 1 My Gem = 1 Microsoft Reward point. This is 1/10th of the My Gem value and it feels like you're trying to pull a fast one on us.

In addition to this, we can't cash out our My Gems in the vault because you've been out of a vast majority of items for months.

Either restock the My Gem Vault or correct the conversion rate.

 

i spent 500 of my gems on 10000 rewards credits just the other day but i still have 294 left and there is no way to spend them left since prizes are always out of stock. Thes 294 gems could have been almost 6000 reward credits but because you guys have the
conversion rate wrong and dont restock prizes im going to only get 294 rewards credits, itstead of 6000. This is really ridiculous and as a company that cares about its customers this should be righted immedietly.

Since being introduced in October, Gems have never had a Credit or currency value assigned to them. They can only be spent on purchases from the Vault. However, we realize that users have grown attached to their Gems, so when you are transitioned to Microsoft
Rewards, they will be converted into points. Note that Microsoft Rewards points and Xbox Live Rewards Credits are not the same. Your Gems will not be converted into Xbox Live Rewards Credits if you choose to remain in the Rewards programs, but will be converted
into Microsoft Rewards Points.
