    Gears Tactics not Downloading on PC Game Pass


    A couple days ago I started pre-installing Gears Tactics through the Xbox (beta) App. After about an hour, the app went completely black. I gave it some time but it never changed so I restarted the app.

    Gears Tactics is featured on my Games List even though it is not installed. If I click on the icon from my Games List and try to install from there, it says "Preparing 0%"for a very brief moment before turning back into the install button. If I try to install
    it from the Store or Game Pass section it says "Preparing 0%" and just stays like that for as long as I have the app open.

    Pressing play on Gears Tactics minimizes Xbox (beta) App but does nothing else. Pressing uninstall on Gears Tactics does nothing.

    I have restarted my computer. I have reinstalled Xbox (beta) App. I have reinstalled Gaming Services. I have gone into my WindowsApps folder and can find files for my other games but not for Gears Tactics.

    I finally fixed it , I have had installed windows updates...restarted and after 30 minutes of trying everything else on internet, I just went to windows update one more time , downloaded..restarted and then I tried to install it again. I worked , I hope
    that it helps you because it was getting frustrating.
