"Gears Tactics" does not install

    "Gears Tactics" does not install


    I have a valid subscription for XBOX Game Pass for PC on my Windows 10 machine. I have 28 Games installed using the XBOX App and my XBOX Game Pass for PC Subscription. They all installed normally and I'm able to play them.

    This issue only happens with "Gears Tactics"

    When I click the 'Install with Game Pass' button, it goes into the Install Queue, and shows "Preparing 0%" with "0 B of 35.5 GB" below it.

    After about 2 minutes, it abruptly vanishes from the queue. There is no error or any message, it just disappears. The status never changes from "Preparing 0%".

    Please advise.

    Follow these steps, if one doesn't work, move on to the other.

    First Windows key + R and type ''ms-windows-store:purgeCaches'' the Microsoft Store will open, try downloading the game again.

    .Open Windows Update and look for updates, update everything, including optional updates. Restart to apply updates and try again.

    Press Windows Key + i and go to apps, search for ''gaming services'' click ''advanced options'' and then ''terminate, repair and reset. Try installing the game again.

    Launch PowerShell as an administrator and enter

    “get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers”

    Restart your PC, open PowerShell as admin again, and enter

    “start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN”

    The Microsoft Store will open and ask to install Gaming Services, install. Then try installing any game again.

    Still no solution from Microsoft. Very disappointed to be frank.

    I had Gears Tactics installed and was playing it.

    It has suddenly popped off my games list and not install-able

    We'll need some with this

    Just downloaded the xbox beta app and started installing Gears tactics from there.

    It is at 700MB and going, so definitely think it is something on your side
