Gears Pop! Server Shutdown. Why so Soon?

Simply Put, why is Gears Pop! Shutting down so soon? It will be shutdown on April 26 2021. less than 2 years after its release on August 2019.

Frankly, this is quite disappointing for a Microsoft First Party Title. If all Microsoft games followed this path you would have a large amount of angry customers.

The reason I care is I am an achievement hunter, some in the community are some are not. But, 2 of the achievements on there have been estimated to take 7 years to achieve playing 2 hours every day. The only way to get them faster is to spend real money.
Now, I understand that this is a free title and that is how these games are designed. However, I have spent a large amount of money on this game. Much more than I would spend on any standard $60 triple A game with additional DLC. I feel like after spending
that much money on a game, and putting the hundreds of hours I have into the game I should at least have the capability of getting the achievement. But, Things as they are now, It probably isn't possible for me even if I continue the grind every day. I can't
even give Microsoft more money anymore to get it faster.

Now, after a game stops being profitable it makes sense to scale back resources and eventually shut the game down. But most games follow the trend of Stopping support for the game but at least keeping the servers open for years so people who have put money
into the game can continue to play. I argue that yes even though the game is "free to play" me and other gamers have put in plenty of money to warrant a fair amount of time with the servers open.

In summary, in my opinion less than 2 years with the servers open is far too short of a time and simply unacceptable for a 1st party Microsoft title. Especially one of Xbox's flag ship IPs, Gears of War. One of the games that built the xbox and has become
iconic behind Halo. I request Microsoft at least keep servers open and release one final update to keep the game going for at least a few more years. I think customers of the game are owed that much. The multiplayer community is still thriving.
