    Gears Pop! Login error loop issue.


    Hello

    I have not been able to properly open/play Gears Pop! since the past weekend. On September 7th I played several matches and closed the app. Later that night when my boxes were ready to be opened I tried to login and the progress bar stops at 27% and this
    message is displayed.

    Error

    Cannot sign in to Xbox Live or there is no Gears POP! progress linked to your Xbox Live account. To create a new local account, Tap Forget Account. Your other accounts will not be affected.

    Forget Account (icon) Try Again (icon)

    Now this happened during an Xbox Live outage and I confirmed this online and with my Xbox One. So I waited and when Live was restored I tried again, and again. I tried to uninstall the app, I deleted all traces of Gears POP! from my Android phone. and
    finally I selected Forget Account and gave up on my progress so far.

    Then the truly frustrating thing happened. I played the tutorial and signed my Xbox account back in and it says there are 2 saves, one in the cloud and one local. I selected the cloud save and it takes me back to the error page. I did this all again and
    selected the local save and it takes me back to the error page!

    Please have someone contact me with a way to fix this. I loved the game and I am now wasting time and energy on trying to figure out a way to play this game again.

    You could try deleting and reinstalling the app.

    This is a common error and happens quite often to some people. Please also try the troubleshooter on the FAQ page that can help. https://gearspop.com/faq
    This is accurate, especially if you are playing on iOS. I haven't been able to login since launch week. Details can be found at this link: https://gearspop.com/w1-wrap-up

    Seems like the issue stems also from having the Xbox Game Pass app on your phone from what I was reading on Reddit. I unfortunately do not have a link for additional info on that front. Found that information from browsing a week or so ago. Hopefully this
    gets resolved soon as I am still unable to login and play. All aside, the game is fun for a free mobile game!

    Same thing happened to me yesterday. Seems their servers sometimes overload and cause that issue. Just give it time and try later.
