Discus and support gears or war 5 crashing in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; everytime I try and play gears of war 5 from disc it crashes sometimes in the first wav or by the end of the 3rd wav.     gears or war 5 crashing


    everytime I try and play gears of war 5 from disc it crashes sometimes in the first wav or by the end of the 3rd wav. I have tried everything but reinstalling the game. I also tried the digital version of gears of war 4 that also crashes.

    Gears 5 had played just fine the other night, and hadnt had any issues with it before this last update.

    Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand there is an issue with Gears of War 5 crashing to the home screen. I recommend to try troubleshooting the Xbox console to help isolate a file or hardware issue.

    I recommend trying a power cycle
    of the console. If the problem persists, try doing a
    soft factory reset of the console, Reset and keep games and apps to help reset
    the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles and stable internet connection.

    Try this out and let us know the results.
