Gears of war Xbox collection

bought gears of war 4 ultimate edition a little over a week ago and have yet to receive the codes yet. Do they still come through messages or is there an issue

If you play the Ultimate Edition before the end of this year, you'll have access to the whole Gears collection for free on Xbox One.

they still come in msgs however if you had read the terms you would know the answer

They are sent out in waves 7-14 days after redemption of the game

This is to keep the server from being spammed for requests for the same game and you would be waiting till a less busier time
