Gears of War Ultimate promotion question...

In order to qualify for this, does the game have to bought directly through xbox live? Or can I buy it from Amazon? Thanks!

Haven't Received my Gears of War Tittles [Case Number: 1329779245]

I bought Gears of War Ultimate Edition during the promotion and havent received my titles. (Gears of War 1, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3, Gears of War Ultimate Edition for Windows 10).

If you have a German account then you don't quality for the gears of war ultimate collections fyi it was one of the regions gears of ear ultimate promotion and games.weren't available in

 

Are you talking about the gears of war 1-3 and judgement?

If so yes as long as you buy a disc from your region and your account region matches your actual region and console region then yes you get them free on the 12th or whenever you buy and olau online befoee the end of the year

But you must meet the above conditions

 

When i say console region you must have a previously registered 360 console to pass the region check (for gears 3 and judgement) noone knows if they will lift the region restrictions butbwhen gears 3 and judgement were up for games with gold the resteictions
were still there and the preview tram said they still apply

 

It is doubtful they will lift the account region check but the console maybe lifted as the account region and actual region is a legal restriction due to the bans in some regions

 

What if I didn't have gears 3 or judgement? But I did have 1 and 2 on a registered Xbox. I don't know what you mean by region tho. But I did buy it from a local retailer and stuff if that is what u mean.

 

why have I not received my gears of war codes when I bought the new gears?

 

my message might have been poor then, I bought the gears of war ultimate edition, I bought it few days before it was released on the xbox store, ihavent yet received my codes for the old games.. my gamertag is

So, this is a code thing? As I was expecting them to be available right away and/or not dependent on the new Backward Compatibility thing that came out yesterday (which I just saw today, was expecting a downloadable app and not an automatic update, as the
layout's changed DRASTICALLY on my Xbox One, ick).

And does it need to have been on a registered Xbox? Playing Gears of War: Ultimate Edition anyways, I dunno if what was said about downloading a couple with Games With Gold matters (though I already owned 3 on disc, but I downloaded it through the store
too anyways, despite not needing to but I didn't get Judgment with Gold cause I didn't see myself needing to or had Gold at the time anyways I believe; yet I see the third as "Ready to Install" on One). Because I haven't exactly gone to the effort to register
either of mine (360 or One) in the past. Of course, I dunno if it's too late now to do so and get credit for when I played before on Live (during the Halloween skin giveaway 2 weekends ago), if that one time when I had already played Gears: Ultimate Edition
on Live doesn't count (due to not being registered or playing during a special event). And so then, I would need to do it again? Even if currently, I still have a few days of time left on Xbox Gold to do so.

I mean, I already have all the games in some way except Gears of War 2. I've meant to get it and see what it's like, playing all the others in a different order. As I first played the third when I got a Special Edition Gears 3 Xbox 360 (when I first got
any interest in Xbox, despite it being elsewhere, with the first Dead Island video game 4 years ago), then Judgment, and lastly the first one with a code for it included in Judgment. And am curious what the second's like, being in-between those first and third
games. But have never acted upon doing so, even if I doubt Xbox will ever offer it as a Games With Gold or Deals With Gold offer, like they did with Judgment and Gears 3 earlier this year (plus the Season Pass for Gears 3). Just have been occupied with many
other games this past year, heh.

Sorry for the rambling a bit, but eh, just trying to explain why I'm interested in wanting this, even if it's only for one of the games.

 

i want to know as well as it should have been made clear when we was going to get the codes and how as ive downloaded it and theres still no sign of it .

 

Well, from trying to talk to someone on Xbox Support yesterday (BEFORE I posted here, who pointed me to this thread in particular and to the forums in general for an answer), it does seem like this is a code thing rather than a "right-away" thing, but I
hadn't expected that to be the case... though I hadn't known about if the offer was genuine or not, as I only saw about it on Amazon, where I bought the game from.

But really, what I wanna know is what I asked second: does playing on Live need to have been on a pre-registered Xbox One? If the account being registered alone doesn't matter, since I've received an automated code for something once before earlier this
year (which I didn't use and lost cause my method of sending newer versions of the message to myself, due to not having another means to keep it around... one I preferred, anyways; since I lacked a computer) that was from watching a tournament on Xbox Live
Events briefly at one point, on a non-registered Xbox console. And if so, would I need to play online again if registering it now wouldn't count the time I played before?

 

Have the codes been sent out yet? If so I still do not have mine.
