Gears of War Ultimate Edition (Gamepass PC) has no voice audio during cutscenes

I have a couple of questions that will help us when investigating:

Is Gears of War: Ultimate Edition the only game that you're experiencing this issue with? If so, then we suggest reaching out to Gears of War support about this bug by submitting a support request here: Submit a request – Gears of War

Can you verify if the audio works properly with the headphones or speakers connected directly into the computer instead of the audio interface? If the headset works fine without the interface, then it is likely that the problem is between the game and the interface. Have you tried updating the drivers for your audio interface? You can usually find the most recent driver updates on the official manufacturer's website for the device along with any supporting software.

Have you tried altering the settings for the interface and your headphones in the Sound Control Panel?

- Open Settings
- Select System

- Select Sound

- On the right panel, you should see Sound Control Panel under Related Settings

- Select Sound Control Panel to open it

Once in the Sound Control Panel, you should see multiple devices. Right click your audio interface and select Properties

NOTE: Please record your current settings BEFORE making any changes. This will allow you to reset your settings in the event that the troubleshooting steps below do not resolve the issue.

Under the Advanced tab, select the drop-down menu under Default Format and select a lower or higher quality.

Also, make sure that you have both "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" and "Give exclusive mode applications priority" checked. You can also try unchecking the second option to see if that helps.

Next, go into the Spatial sound tab and select a different option from the drop-down menu if available.

Once you've made adjustments, select Apply and try launching the game to see if any changes have resolved the issue.

If not, you can try making adjustments, applying the changes and trying again. You can also make similar changes to your headphones and speakers by following the steps above and testing again.

Headphones and speakers may also have an Enhancements tab. We suggest disabling that to see if it helps as well.

Gears of War 5 (Standard) will be available on September 10 on Retail, Digital or Xbox Game Pass!

Gears Of War 5 Ultimate Edition will be available on September 6 (This Friday) on Retail, Digital or Xbox Gamepass Ultimate.

If you have gamepass ultimate then you can download the gears of war special edition for free and get all the bonuses included with the game. If you cancel it you will have too sign up for it again unless you can persuade microsoft too refund you any lost
xbox live time, but then you will still need an active gamepass too get the game for free. Gears of war 5 is cross play but you will need the right edition of the game too play it on each platform, e.g. pc version for pc users.

Hello again, would know if the version of the game you redeemed is for PC or console, because Gears of War Ultimate Edition is not a Playanywhere game and have two versions.
