Gears Of War Ultimate Edition Double XP Weekend!

Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Double XP is Happening Now

It's going on right now and will continue until Monday, 7th September at 11: 59pm PDT.

My game actually informed me of this last night when I started it, but I've seen so many complaints from gamers saying their reputations took a hit from the multiplayer in this game, I'm not sure if it's worth playing.

Gears 3 double XP??

Does anyone know when there is going to be another double XP weekend for Gears 3?

 

Good to know, Goth! It's too bad I'm still re-downloading GoW:UE to my internal HDD to see if it'll fix the campaign mode. In any case, it's currently at 85%, so even though I'll miss some of the weekend, I should be able to take advantage of some of it.

Also, if you're going to mention double XP weekends, why not mention Killer Instinct, which is also having a double XP weekend, since it's celebrating 20 years of (technically not) being around?

 

^^ Maybe she doesn't care about Killer Instinct(a garbage game)? I wish I had Gears. I would defo take advantage of this. I'm rank 10 or so and haven't noticed my rep go down. I dunno. Maybe I just haven't been pooping on kids enough.

 

Lol Defy. I'll miss out this weekend but maybe next time. Got the game and haven't had a minute to play it yet.

 

I don't think my rep has taken a hit at all, I've even checked it a time or so lately... then again, I'm usually the poopee.

 

40+ games of social Warzone and still got a perfect rep, mind you I am rubbish!

 

Nice to know if I was good at multiplayer, I only have gotten a whopping 1 kill on multiplayer. The game though is freaking awesome, can't wait till November when the vouchers or whatever Microsoft are calling them go out to download the originals when the
backwards compatibility update arrives in November.

Killer Instinct is NOT a garbage game! It's 1 of the best fighting games around (both in terms of character design and core-gameplay mechanics)! Where else are you going to find a giant stone golem, a skeleton, and a hi-tech dinosaur? In no other fighting
game around these days, that's for sure! Beats the snot out of other fighting games (especially the recently-released MKX) in terms of great back-and-forth gameplay and network speed and stability (in that even I can actually play it without issue).

You may not like it - that's fine, but IT. IS. NOT. GARBAGE!!!

 

Ahh GG dont worry too much what other people think (let alone react) all that really matters is what you think if you enjoy a game ..

just because they dont like it there will always be someone who does but those who dont will be waiting to ponce on ya ... like everything else lol ..

About the double XP weekend: Timing is bad for me, since I'm playing Phantom Pain. But that's Ok. In multiplayer I'm the worst gamer you've ever seen.
