Gears of War: Freeze and Crash After Last Update?

Does anyone from Microsoft/Xbox monitor this forum?

Just so this thread doesn't die, I, too, am also having this problem. Crashes the WHOLE system. Crazy weird.

 

I am also having this issue. I can't even get past the first mission. I was hoping to power through before 4 dropped too

 

My Gears of War 3 also freezes and then crashes the whole console.

I'm have this issue as well and Xbox one doesn't recognize that i have Raam's Shadow DLC Anymore.I have done all the steps listed and it still will not work.I also just got the GOW 4 Xbox One and reinstalled everything and GOW 3 still has DLC and freezing
issue

 

I can't play gears 2, freezes at the start menu and I wasn't able to play gears 3 coop that we'll with a friend, kept kicking the player that isn't the host

 

Hey Death13bringers -

If you check your Gears of War 3 "Ready to Install" tile, do you see your DLC listed there? If so, install it and you should be good to go.

Also, when you say you are experiencing Gears of War 3 freezing issues, could you clarify what you are experiencing for us please?

Miss Bijoux Yes i have uninstalled and reinstall the DLC several times trying to get it to work and when i load GOW 3 it still says i need to download Raam's shadow. On the load screen it says updating menu with download content and the game will freeze
and i have to restart the game a few time just to get to main menu.I have the new GOW 4 system and i have the Halo 5 system and was happening on it before i bought the GOW 4 system

 

Well during gameplay I don't seem to get any freezes anymore that crash the console. Played all of Act 4 and seem to be working for me again, thanks.

 

GOW 3 campaign is no longer freezing .But Raam's Shadow DLC is still not recognized as installed and i have downloaded and installed it several times.

 

Any news on this? Its been two weeks.

Please check Miss Bijoux's post from a couple days ago. This issue should be resolved now, are you still seeing freezing issues in Gears of War 3? Try some of the steps suggested as well and let us know how it goes.
