Gears of war elite controller

bought on release day and within first two weeks i noticed the right stick had a drift issue slightly down and wouldnt stay centered so i had to start an exchange and microsoft asked that i pay shipping and assured i would be reimbursed with xbox live as
compensation they never reimbursed me for shipping the controller..... issue now i just got my new gears elite controller a few days ago and it has even worse stick drift now then the previous controller i sent in and even worse they are asking me to pay shipping
again customer service is really not customer service

The option I am looking for isn't there. The only available options to click are D-Pads, Paddles, and Thumbsticks. Does this mean there is no way to replace/reattach the padding on the underside of the controller?

I had bought the Gears of War Xbox One Bundle that came with a custom elite controller way back when it released. Being so, I had been using the elite controller a lot, and it has started to have the leather padding(or whatever the material is) under where
you hold the controller peel off on one of the sides. I was curious as to whether or not there is a way to fix that. Say, send it in and someone at Microsoft can fix/replace it or so forth. It's kinda annoying having something like that go wrong on such
a cool controller. I feel like if I just took the padding off it'd be too different to play with anymore.

 

Hey im0use! Generally you will have to pay shipping to send the controller in for repair or exchange. You may also want to try taking it to a Microsoft Store if you have one locally available. Thanks!
