    Gears of War Elite Controller Left thumbstick loose?


    Hi All,

    I have had 4 Gears of War Elite controllers, and all of which have had something different wrong with them. The first had a left stick which would not centre and thumbsticks which seemed loose when I pulled up to remove a stick. The second had a non operational
    A button and a loose right stick. The Third seemed ok but the left stick felt like it was catching on something when rotated, however did NOT have loose sticks when pulled up.

    Yesterday I have received a BRAND NEW Gears of War 4 Elite controller and all looked perfect. It was even in the original plastic bag. The sticks seem much smoother, however the left stick when pulled up to swap a longer or different thumbstick will lift
    up. This is far more noticeable as the magnet is very strong. I have contacted Xbox support as like before, no one really knows if this is a fault. The controller works perfect so I guess this is just a trait of how these are built now?

    Can anyone shed some light as I have seen on YouTube etc that this may be a fault.

    Xbox one elite thumbsticks interfere with lt

    I bought xbox one elite parts for my normal xbox one controller but when I press the left thumbstick it activates the left trigger any fixes?

    Does anyone else wish we could make a Design Lab Elite Controller?

    I'd love to have a custom elite one day. My D-pad/thumbsticks from the Gears 4 Elite controller are what I use on my other Elite now. Just kinda wish I could have my controller have a greenish tint or something.

    It might be a loose/faulty thumbstick or someone set the settings for the controller on inverted.

    Hi David,

    I own an Elite controller and it comes with taller thumbsticks to allow for a greater range of motion. From my personal experience, the greater range of motion does allow more freedom for the stick to move and generally feels less tense. The higher placement
    of your thumbs will take a little time to get used to but I feel it improves aiming and camera movement in most games especially shooters.

    However, down to the core components all of the controllers have the same stick tension as others have already mentioned. I just figured that since you said you like the loose thumbsticks you may be interested in the tall thumbsticks included with the Elite
    controller.
