Gears of War download code MIA

Good evening, I was redirected to this site and have a ticket # for reference upon request. Upon purchase (as a gift) of a new XBox One bundle, the box said I get access of Gears of War 4 Beta, but I cannot locate what I'm told was an included, printed code.
I have the original XBox One box with serial numbers, but cannot locate any code. I've searched everywhere and fear it was thrown away during the holiday clean up. Are you able to assist? Many thanks.

Export RB1 songs now or later?

The twenty free DLC can be downloaded right away. The code that we get is the one you type directly into XBox Live on the Redeem Code section. (Like the Gears if War 2 map pack). There is no messing around with websites like the US versions.

The Gears thread has more information, You will receive two codes, a download code and activation code.

op yes you need Xbox Live to play online multiplayer games.

The Gears of War 4 beta is not a code included in the box. Instead, you should receive the code close to when the beta begins. We do not have any information to share as far as the timeline for the Gears of War 4 beta will be. Be sure to launch and play
some Gears of War: Ultimate Edition while connected to Xbox Live in the meantime!

I received an invalid/not working code for Gears of War 3 from the Gears of War Ultimate edition.

The Xbox One S console comes with a download code for Gears 4, which should give you the online messages download codes for Gears 1-3.

The fine print on the console says that "to qualify [for Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3 and Gears of War: Judgment] purchase and play Gears of War 4 on Xbox Live by 31 December 2016. Must be 17+" -- Have you played Gears 4 on Xbox Live yet?

This seems no longer to be true.

Games purchased from other regions will play if physical disk, but any connected download codes will not work.

There are issues for example with the Gears of War 1-3 codes (included with Gears of War collection) and the Fallout 3 codes (that came with Fallout 4).

I have the same problem . I bought Gears of war judgement and i also got a code for Gears of war 1, but when i try to download the game it gave me the same error.
