    There still could be something in it, saying no to a Marcus Fenix Collection does not mean there will not be a Gears Trilogy or some other collection, I would prefer a new title, but until then I would enjoy playing any of the first three Gears on Xbox One.

    Going by the current 10th year anniversary trend, a Gears of War Anniversary would be more than a year away, November 2016 would be the 10th year, I would expect the new Gears game about then, but I hope to see a Gears game on Xbox One sooner than that.

    ET, I doubt you'll see 1 before then. MS has always had a tendency to "stagger" its big releases - 1 year it's Halo and the following year it'd be Gears of War. Since this year is Halo 5 and you pointed out that next year will be the Gears 10-year anniversary,
    I'd say that's exactly what's going to happen.

    I just read an article saying that a dev from Black Tusk will not be developing a Marcus Phoenix/Gears Of War Collection. They will have news for the upcoming Gears Of War title around E3. Don't make me post my source just take my word for it.

    Maybe this is all just a trial balloon, to see what the general response is without committing to anything.

    I think if they knew that they would make a profit on it, there would be a Gears of War Collection.
