Gears of War collection confirmed for Xbox One?

Yeh lets see some new games now. There is definately a lack of them at the moment.

The tweet that I saw said "No Marcus Fenix collection" that doesn't rule out a Gears remake, and I doubt Black Tusk while working on the next Gears would be making it anyway. I'll still hold out hope.

 

Personally, I would love to play GoW 1, 2 and 3 on my Xbox One. Just for the campaigns alone.

 

Gears 1 is one of the most epic games I've ever played especially for it's time.

 

I see a few sites are picking up on this story ( See link below ) a lot of it is what a few of you have already mentioned.

Studio manager shoots it down.

A lot of people - apropos of nothing - have decided that there is a Gears of War: Marcus Fenix Collection being developed for Xbox One, containing the three numbered Gears of War titles. The misinformation has gone so far as to bleeding into various
forums, where we've seen multiple topics created by people asking when the collection would be released.

Well, there's bad news ahead for those that believed it as Rod Fergusson, Studio Manager at Black Tusk, has posted a Tweet to confirm that while they ARE working on "other exciting Gears projects" a collection is not one of them.

My social life would be gone haha. Gears and my Resident Evil games are pretty much the only reason I still use my 360.

Think there missing a trick if they don't make one but at least I still have them on 360

 

^ I think it would be a popular remake for sure.

Again I much rather have proper sequels to games, I'm counting the days to they announce a 'New' Project Gotham Racing but I wouldn't mind them doing a remake of an older title

 

Yeah I would rather have a new one but the amount of people that want it and the people that would upgrade there 360 its a no brainer they might not be working on one but there will be one money talks

 

Hopefully there will never ever ever ever be a GOW Collection on the Xbox One.
