Gears of War collection confirmed for Xbox One?

If you play the Ultimate Edition before the end of this year, you'll have access to the whole Gears collection for free on Xbox One.

It has been posted by Xbox Wire Staff,

That we will get the Entire Gears Collection. GOW 1/2/3 & Judgement, and it says in the post, for Xbox One. which means they will all be Backwards Compatible, eventually.

Xbox live is still fully functional for Xbox 360. Save yourself $60 and rebuy the games for that system.

 

I'd be down for this. Thankfully 343 Industries won't have anything to do with it so chances that it works is good.

 

I would most definately be happy.

 

I'm undecided, I mean I'd love Gears 3 and I'm not sure if I can go back from that now, I have before and Gears 1 feels so clunky compared, haha.

I'd have to hear what they have planned before I committed.

 

I am defo buyin it ... if it happens .

 

If happens and have all four games. I would get it. Sooner or later LIVE on be put like old Yello. Just like they did with the original XBOX. And some people unable play H2 online on LIVE.

 

No doubt this would be popular.

Would I buy these again? Possibly but it wouldn't be something I'd rush out day one to buy unless we were in a very quiet period at the time.

I thought the campaigns were really good especially in co-op when played with people you know.

I know the MP was very popular with lots of you but I honestly found it boring after a short time. To me it was a case of , wait for match to start, everyone runs to the same spots to grab weapons, fight it out, repeat repeat repeat ....

I have talked to friends that said the MP worked a lot better when played with a team that was communicating but unfortunately most of the people I knew at the time stuck to the campaigns so when I did play, it was mainly with randoms and where I didn't
have a clue where were the best places to go, best weapons to go for, that didn't help.

Definitely a remake I'd consider at some point but would much prefer an all new Gears of War, new story, new characters etc

 

My thoughts when I bought the Halo collection were .

4 remastered games for £32 =value .

I would like to play them again.

My wife , who now plays on my Ps4 that I never used ..will go mental , if this comes out 4 the 1 .

Gears 1 is her fav game , lol.

It will be worth it , just to see her face..

I know lots of people who would make the jump to Xbox One if this got made.

Fantastic campaign. I'd love to see this remastered. This, I think would be bigger than the Halo MCC.

At least,Black Tusk can focus on making a new Gears of war.
