Gears of War Code Fails to Initiate Download

Already talked to MS support (case nuber [Mod removed]) the game code show as redeemed by my user but I cannot download from Web or Console. The link is still for a buy it now. How do I get this game?

The twenty free DLC can be downloaded right away. The code that we get is the one you type directly into XBox Live on the Redeem Code section. (Like the Gears if War 2 map pack). There is no messing around with websites like the US versions.

Is it possible you redeemed the codes while signed into a different Xbox Live account? Be sure to check other accounts on your Xbox One. Are you currently posting from the correct Gamertag that you believe you redeemed the code on? Let us know

 

received xbox one GOW bundle (500GB system) as a gift..redeemed code but it did not download. When I attempt to redeem again receive message that already has been redeemed. Do not see in my games or QUE awaiting download. When to store on system and it wants
me to buy for 39.99. Any ideas?

From the dashboard home screen, go down to the very bottom and go into "My Games and Apps", then once in there go to the games section, and scroll all the way to the right, passed all of your installed games. You should get to the "ready to install" section,
and you should hopefully see them there. From there, hit the menu button on them (pause button) and then click "Install"

If that still doesn't work, I'd suggest creating your own thread so that we can assist you from there

is the gamer tag that redeemed the code MS phone support confirmed that. It's just not available to download. I only have the option to purchase.
