    i got a message from xbox live stating I was accepted and the message contained the code, I then redeemed it through the console, but the game hasn't downloaded nor does it show as available to download. I'm not sure what's up.

    Did you get the other message to play the beta? one is register. the other is to play the game. looks like this....Congratulations, your token for full access to the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Beta is here. Choose Redeem code on your Xbox One to play
    the beta now. Have fun!...the code is at the end of this message..

    Solved...i actually have two codes. The first loads the the second lets u play. U have to redeem both.

    i still have my gears of war 3 beta save file, it is in my gears of war 3 beta folder on my xbox. i transferred it over and then did a license transfer when i bought my gears of war 3 xbox. still no beta unlocks though. ugh.

    The Gears of War 4 beta is not a code included in the box. Instead, you should receive the code close to when the beta begins. We do not have any information to share as far as the timeline for the Gears of War 4 beta will be. Be sure to launch and play
    some Gears of War: Ultimate Edition while connected to Xbox Live in the meantime! :)

    Just to clarify, did you not receive the code for the Gears of War 4 beta or for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition? If you did not receive a code for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition in the bundle box, you will need to reach out to the original purchase retailer
