Gears of War 5 crashes shortly after starting.

I have downloaded Gears of War 5 from Microsoft Store, and it crashes shortly after I launch the game. I have an Xbox One X, and the game does not give an error screen. The only warning that I get is the sound sticks becoming a buzzing sound. I have the
most current patch installed at the time I am posting this, and I have restarted my console.

Just restarting the console may not fix it. You should power cycle your console. Hold down the Xbox button on your Xbox till it shuts down, remove the power cable from behind your console, wait for around 10 seconds, attach the cable plug, and start your
console.

unplug the console, turn it on and try again, in case you follow the problem try reinstalling the game

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to hopefully deal with this game not launching properly. I can totally understand how eager you must be to be get into action. I suggest trying the steps outlined in Xbox
One Game Freeze Solution as a means of primary troubleshooting.
