Ahhhhhhh!! Got to Horde 49 with complete randoms today but one idiot decided to go for a run and got downed then meaning our base was overrun destroying our turrets etc - ''twas then a slippery slope into mayhem

First few waves and I'm ok running about but after that I tend to stick near to where base has been set up. I think though with a lot of gamers it's not about team work, they just want the most kills so off they go.

Definitely finding it easier now my characters class level is rising, having more cards for extra health, ammo etc help a great deal.

 

The thing was we had a great little base set up, 3 manned turrets, 2 sentry turrets, electric fences all around most of us had a repair gun so everything was getting repaired each round, I don't really know what they were thinking, nobody was really going
Rambo until that moment and it destroyed us

Yeah the cards are helping a lot, I've started levelling an engineer now, their perks are pretty good for everthing defence worthy.

I honestly can't imagine doing it on insane tbh, normal gets crazy enough!,

 

I see a few have done it, one on my friends list and he got achievement.

He said they done it with 2 soldier classes, 2 engineers and 1 heavy. All players were class rank 10 which obviously gives each player 5 cards to use. Also a few said they cards were upgraded to at least level 2 which gave one person 70% extra ammo and 40%
health, 40% extra armor.

It's tough but as long as you got everyone talking, helping each other out, repairing turrets, barriers etc then I think it will be well easy especially with me on a team ;-)

 

Lol, bigging yourself up there! I reckon you'd need a scout in the mix somehow, the extra cash they bring in is well worth it.

 

I had a blast playing versus co-op today. The enemy AI are actually pretty good to play against.

 

Out of interest Doc do you know if you can play solo against bots too? I'm not a fan of real players in MP on this due to it just being gnasher city, but I might give bots a go if possible?

 

Not sure. But so far, I haven't noticed anyone over-using the gnasher. It comes in handy when you need it though.

You should give it a try. Nothing to lose.

I have to mate as no one else will ;-p

I think what ever class you use they will need to be levelled up. When I just mess around on horde on my own it's a lot easier now I'm levelled up to get further.

 

Me and Mark got to wave 50 but one wally on the team kept getting downed by running off constantly. Still really enjoyed it but so near yet so far

Horde is just so addictive, really got to drag myself away from it and carry on with story.
